Measured Space, 2017 - Present.

Measured Space is an ongoing collaborative project that began in 2017 with 100 small temple-like structures built from measurements of my own height. Inspired by the repetition, balance and construction of ancient temples, each structure is made from simple wooden frames joined together.
 

In 2025, I returned to the work by giving individual pieces to other people to transform in their own way. Through drawing, painting, building and alteration, each person becomes part of the structure, turning something originally personal into something shared.

This original structure is currently being distributed to my community in Malaysia which will be then returned to me, for a local exhibition in Bristol early 2027.
